Loved it, loved it, loved it. Special mention to out waiter Brian - above & beyond.Food was great, same sort of things as Ballyhoos but half the price and popular with the locals, which Ballyhos isn't. Overall if the locals go there it must be good. Live entertainment nightly, buzzing bar owner that comes and chats with you, opportunity to feed the fish and tables right on the boardwalk by the marina. Thought the glass floor bits were great - you could watch the fish under your table !

Dear Mary
We just wanted to say thank you for helping us out the other day when we visited the restaurant with our son on his 11th birthday.
It was the last full day of our holiday in Florida and it was a fantastic way to finish an amazing trip. You were very generous with serving us our very own birthday cake and we will remember feeding the fish below the bar with oatflakes for a very long time.
As Brits we were struck by how friendly everyone was throughout our stay in the US. It was our first visit to the Keys and we will definitely be returning. We would also happily recommend the Pilot House as a great place to eat
Thanks again for your hospitality
Best wishes

We liked this restaurant so much we ate there 3 nights in a row. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and the atmosphere very relaxing. The raw bar is amazing. Best of all we found the prices more reasonable than at other restaurants we visited. I would highly recommend it.

We were staying at the Kawama Yacht Club in Key Largo and found the Pilot House within walking distance of our accommodation.
Situated on a Marina, it was just a great place to chill out with a beer at the end of the day.-Jacquie from the UK (Trip Advisor)
...it was a good call. We sat outside on the deck which has a bar and some tables and a cool view of the marina and all the yachts and sailboats. Inside has a real nice big bar and even more tables and is fancier than outside.Food and service were great. Both owners talked to us and seemed to be genuinely happy that we were there and that they were running the place. A cool place to hang out on the water and reasonable prices too. I would like to go back again.

We were actually headed to Calypsos and happen to see this place next door. We spoke to some locals in the parking lot who really recommended The Pilot House so we decided to give it a try. We enjoyed sitting on the deck by the water. My kids walked around the dock looks at boats until their food arrived. This was the best meal we had during our stay in Key Largo. The special was shrimp and lobster in a butter wine sauce with butter rice.......which was amazing. The fried shrimp and clams were the best I have probably ever had. We loved our waiter who was from Nashville. We will most certainly come back The Pilot house again and again.-AlleycatAtlanta_GA (Trip Advisor)
We had a nice evening at this restaurant with our teen and tween. We sat outside which is on a marina. When we arrived, a huge shore bird (sorry, don't know the species) was sitting on the railing like he belonged there. He got a few snacks from the patrons before flying off. After ordering, the kids walked around looking at the boats and down at the fish in the water. -Trixietg, Chagrin Falls, Ohio (Trip Advisor)
